Negi's retrofit parts arrived the other day, here is some photos of what will be going into his headlights!
We are just waiting on the headlights to arrive to get started.

TyphoonFists parts will be arriving in the next couple of days as well and CSMs parts were ordered this afternoon!

Everyone jumped in at about the same time so I will be quite busy for sure!

The difference will be mind boggling. Ultimately, its really working out for everyone as I am still battling the no start issue on my car. Hopefully by the time I get the headlights opened, and cleaned up I will my car back to aim them and dial them in properly.

I also plan to make a how too for you guys on wiring, with photos and such.

I will have them aimed and aligned so all you need to do is plug and play. You can adjust them how you choose, but my guess is you won’t have too. The difference will be astounding.

Subbed as well. I would've jumped on the initial 3 but money is tight right now. Hopefully next time when your ready to except new builds I'll be able to jump in. Only real negative aspect to this car is the two Thomas Edison lamps they call headlights.

When I got this, I had the Ram 1500 that is photoed above that I had retrofit. I drove this car once at night and was absolutely terrified because I could not see ahead to too the sides like I was used too. I parked the car and ordered the build materials and went to work.
I really don't know how you guys drive at night with these headlamps. Ive said it once and I will continue to say it, you are going to be blown away by the difference.

It seems like everyones order is expected to arrive on Thursday/ Friday so I hope to start posting some more progress photos soon.

Honestly I put in LED fog lights which kind of helped but not really. The scatter is absolutely terrible with the stock OEM. I am exicited to see what your final product looks like. I'd much rather invest in a good pair of headlights then be nervous to drive at night.

I'm in same boat as you. I put in LED Fogs which were a meh upgrade. Put in LED lights into OEM housing that supposed to not scatter but still, not ideal.

Finally decided to invest in a good set of lights! cant wait

There is no scatter at all with a proper retrofit. My other vehicle has LEDs from the factory and is a Lincoln and my retrofitted headlights are far superior to those. LEDs are great and all but they just don't have the ability ro project as far as an HID as they are driven by small chips. An HID is driven by a ballast and you go from 35w to I believe 90w for some extreme options, though 55w would be the highest I would go, but you'll burn the protector bowls in a few years due to the heat.

That brings me to another point, HIDs will never frost up on you where LEDs will because they have no heat. Take a long road trip in a storm and you'll find you'll have nice clean headlight with no ice or show on them.
