If your car is stock. It'll still put out the rated hp/tq. It just sounds like butts. Its not a massive restriction. If its got a tune than you might be putting down a bit more.
Yeah I'd say in a months time I should be at least looking to place my order for the thermal catback. Not gonna let this thing stick around for much longer. Just the fact this car had this exhaust and subs in the back hatch tells me how this car was treated before. Dunno if I want to sell it to anybody haha.

He said there is an aftermarket bov adapter as well but he couldn't remember what brand, that's what's still done to it, but I bought this car to do what I want to it so things are gonna change

...possibly even in WHITNEY's POS catalog. [histerical]
JC Whitney‘s I remember my friend Dan ordering Addco Swaybars for his 510 out of the the JC Whitney catalog. Ah Catalog days. :ROFLMAO:
Seems so long ago now. Different times for sure, people these days do not even realize how good they have it.

Summit will still send you a catalog

Make sure you check out the stickied mod guide here:https://www.fiestastforum.com/threads/modding-faq-a-beginners-guide-to-modding-the-fiesta-st.12350/ There's some solid info even for experienced folks that are new to our cars. Jason also has a good guide posted in the Dizzy tuning section of the forum.

Hope alls well in Tulsa. Grew up there at 91st and Mingo but not been in more than 15 years.

And apparently I'm too young.. Haha. The FiST is my way of getting into manuals and really understanding behind a car. So I got a long road ahead of me on that one. But I'm wondering, what's the benefit of getting a aftermarket bov adapter? Google isn't giving me the best of answers haha.

I assumed it just made the bov louder, appreciate it though. Makes me wonder how the bov normally sounds, before I had assumed this is how it sounded normally

With a real CAI, a smooth intake hose, and a symposer delete, I hear the BOV just fine, while not scaring children and dogs.

Also I should add it's not a BOV it's a diverter valve.
The stock unit when left alone recirculates air through the system nothing gets blown out in the atmosphere.

Now on my car I have an upgraded unit so the whole unit is replaced. It's a 50/50 unit so some recirculates through the system and some gets blown out in the atmosphere.

As well I do too but mine recirculates . You just hear bit of Gobble instead of a huge exhale.
To the OP you will start being able to spot all the cars and trucks that have Turbo’s as you will hear that sound and go oh thats what that is its blowoff valve.
