Please update us so I can make aa decision. lol
I'm comparing a flash tune with a linear throttle map to an OTS tune with a more aggressive low end, so take it for what it's worth. Maybe someone with Dizzy's more aggressive throttle map can chime in.

In my AP I have tunes from Cobb, Dizzy, JST, and Strat.
Nice. Which one is your fave?

I think that they all have their pro and cons. I use different tunes for different track layouts. If a track is relatively short and tight, I prefer the Strat tune with the more aggressive throttle map (really good bottom and mid power, falls off on the top end). If a track is more open, I prefer the Dizzy tune (better top end and linear throttle). The JST is like a compromise of these two. More aggressive throttle than Dizzy but not as much as the Strat but it does build boost a tad quicker than the Dizzy, but falls off on the top....by a hair. Overall, if I had to choose one, I would choose Dizzy. His base map had less ignition corrections than the JST right from the beginning (JST and Dizzy are custom tunes, Strat is a canned tune), hold boost a little better, and his customer service is awesome. JST's customer service is awesome as well, but you cant a totally talk to him on the phone, Dizzy, you can call him up and ask questions, plus he completed the tuning alot quicker.
If your looking for a canned tune, then any of those 3 will work.

Hope this helps.

I’m seeing more knock right now with the Cobb tune, which makes me want to switch back to Dizzy right now lol

Earlier in this thread someone mentioned that Cobb updated their tunes, so I was trying out the Stage 2 tune again.

After driving it a few days, the Dizzy tune is just better. I'm switching back tomorrow morning.

You can always ask Dizzy to increase the aggressiveness of the throttle if you want.

Well, I was on my 4th tune revision Dizzy when my car was totaled by hail at work. I’m looking for a replacement FiST and am returning my car to stock. I need a doner (new) car because I foolishly discarded the front crash beam when I installed my DHM Race IC and crash bar. On a lighter note, Jason (Dizzy Tuning) has been great to work with, so I’ll stick with him when I find another car. The S280 makes the Fiesta scary fun on demand, but retains great drivability when poking around.

I had an evo way back when in 2003(brand new, literally the month they came to the states) and those came with factory intercooler water sprayers. Mitsubishi did away with it quickly though, not sure why.
I also had an '03 Evo! Ended up using that switch as the trigger to change between the 93 and E85 tunes on it (CHRIST I had to use big injectors for that!) and there was just barely enough room in the stock ECU to do two tunes back in the day. IIRC, we had to delete the A/C idle settings to squeeze it all in, so I had to either shut off the A/C or feather the gas sitting at a light in the summer. lol

Update. I have transplanted the S280 into Cheeto, my 2018 Orange Spice FiST. I’m on my 3rd tune revision now and await a 4th.

So for the people who are running a dizzy tune, how is it as far as reliability? I'm thinking about switching from the Cobb stage 1 tunes to dizzy stage 1. I'm more concerned about long term reliability than power, stage 1 is as far as I plan on going for now

I've run a Dizzy tune for the past two autocross seasons, and about 18k miles. Haven't had an issue, and I really like the linear throttle response for tight courses, it allows me to have a bit more fine tuning of the power in corners. It's not that hard to mash it all the way down in the appropriate spots, and the car leaps through the straights.

Had the updated OTS stage 2 tune and now Dizzy stage 2 and found that far less corrections with the Dizzy tune. Less corrections= more safe? That's how I feel anyway.

I ran Dizzy's stage 2 flash tune + e30 flash tune for over a year and literally never saw a negative correction. Was good at low altitude and high altitude alike (5000ft where my parents live) and handled the hill climb like a champ. Have a bigger turbo now and still using Dizzy. His flash tunes are pretty conservative so they work on all cars and he'll tune it conservatively on a custom tune if you ask him to.

Just get it, you won't be disappointed. I've had all the stages from Cobb OTS, Dizzy Stage 2, E30, and E40. I'm currently going through my custom tune revisions for BT X57RS :D

Y'all have convinced me! I am very impressed with the amount of positive feedback dizzy gets.

Dizzy helped me squeeze everything I could out of the stock hardware. I have a hot revision that just adds heat without performance gains so I use the revision just before that.

I used to daily 80 miles a day for years, no issues, same tune for Texas 100* summers and below freezing winters.

I love my tune from Tunewerks. Randy's good at what he does.

If I didn't already have a great tune, I'd take a look at Monster tuned. He's got an 87-93 octane tune that sounds like a great thing for a daily driver.

I've been driving with my dizzy tune for 150 miles and I like it a lot. So far, my favorite thing is that dizzy totally eliminated rev hang. I know that the Cobb OTS tunes are supposed to get rid of it, but to me they still felt off, like it was still there a little bit. With dizzy, it's completely gone and I can now shift fast without that annoying jerk in the drivetrain. Obviously, power on the dizzy tune is great too. I feel like (butt Dyno) dizzy is faster than Cobb stage 1 OTS. Its definitely smoother in the power delivery.
