Redline (leather) advice

Seems like this is a fairly common interior mod around here. Looking to class up my shift boot and arm rests. My intent is to keep it pretty low key (black or charcoal) with white stitching (to match cloth seats). Since they offer so many options... figured reach out before pulling the trigger.

Just wondering what material you went with... how well it's holding up etc. Anything you would of done differently? Any other vendors I should consider?

Thanks in advance!

I have both the shift boot and arm rest in black with white stitching. Both are good quality. With that being said, I did not have the best experience. When mine arrived they first sent me the wrong arm rest in which they did correct, but when the replacement arrived it was very different from the shift boot. After going back and forth with them they gave me a discounted price on a new shift boot which did match. Again I feel that this is not typical but was very frustrating. This process took about 3 months to rectify.
As for durability- all is holding up well.

I went black and silver although the charcoal? will work too.

There is an option to shorten the shift boot which I chose. It lessens some of the sag. Also I went with a forum members advice using duct tape that aluminum type tape to hold on the armrest which makes it easily reversible and no screwing around with glues. He mentions it on a thread on here somewhere.

I had some JB Weld lying around which I used for the armrest. Never had an issue.

This is a very good idea (on the shift boot material).

They have options to lengthen it also, so I figured ok the stock size should be fine, but its quite a bit of extra material and mine would look a bit better if it was tightened up a bit.

Other than than, I love the shift boot, holding up well but my car doesn't sit out in the sun or really extreme temps so there are some environmental factors I don't experience.

I've had the shift boot and arm rest since oct '18. Then bought the front door arm rests in summer of '20. All of it has held up very well. This pic is from tonight. I just installed a new boot collar.

I don't have anything from them yet on my fiesta but I've had a wheel, shift boot, visor covers, handbrake, and arm rest for over 6 years in their black nappa leather and alcantara on my s2000. The materials look great, have held up very well over that time, and feel just as good as when I put them on. I would be happy with their leather quality on a new luxury car.

I cheaped out and wrapped my fiesta wheel with another companies leather for $50 and am regretting it because I'm going to have to take it off and wrap it with redline leather because even after cleaning their cheap leather feels sticky. Buy once, cry once I guess.

You planning on wrapping or painting that bezel around the boot? I ask because I bought that same piece and havent done anything with it yet. I wanted to wrap it in CF wrap that came close to that shift knob....some day...

What size should I get with a coolerworx, I dropped something in that center and had to pull the thing out to get it. Just stick with normal?

I've been planning sand & paint it white but it's holding up so well unfinished that I leave it alone.

Wrapping it in anything would be really tough, imo

I would absolutely get the longer version. Or maybe reach out to them and see if they can work with measurements you send them to make it the exact size needed.
