The stock shift boot is atrocious. It's base model material and not acceptable. Enter the Redline Goods Italian leather boot. Hand made and to perfect specs. Install was tedious, but fun. I recommend this fully. I went with white stitching to match my recaros. They have an installation manual online, and I noticed I could pop the bottom part of the console out and left the top part. I wiggled the boot out from above. super easy.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED as the first interior mod!

Back doors too? Nice! I imagine we have to disassemble quite a bit to get those in there though.
Go to Redline Goods site, the install instructions.
I wrote them, there is no need to post them again here.
However if you have specific questions I would be happy to help.

Had this stuff in my Mazda3. I added the Speed3 seats and needed some red-stitched goodies to match! Had them do armrest cover, shift boot, ebrake boot, and I ordered a few square feet of leather and did custom door panel inserts to get rid of the cheap fabric. Totally changed the feel of the interior! Can't speak highly enough about Maciek!

What color did you get? Is it black or charcoal. From the color samples it looks like charcoal will be the best match to the seat leather.

So just to confirm, you have charcoal shift boot and white stitching?
You should use quotes so that we know who you are asking.

Mine is the Orange car with Orange interior, so I have the Charcoal leather with Orange stitching.

I just ordered a shift boot, console armrest cover and the door armrests in charcoal with white thread.
My interior is Smoke Storm.

I like my leather goodies from redline, but we need one more thing from them. Visor covers. Really would be nice.
