Gmail not working with forum emails

I have been unable to confirm my account using a gmail account. The forum registration says the confirmation email was sent, but it does not reach my gmail account, not even being filtered to my spam folder. Tried it with two different gmail accounts

I was able to confirm using an old yahoo email I had. I suspect it is related to this problem, and emails from the forum are being completely rejected by gmail’s servers. If so, that means no one else that relies on gmail will be able to create/confirm a new forum account

That changed the way Gmail handles emails now, they used to go to my spam but now go to my inbox.
