RMM blues. CPE rear motor mount availability 3-4 months out

About a month and a half ago I decided I wanted a CPE rear motor mount. Placed an order from a trusted retailer on the forum. No dice. Called up CPE to ask if they had any in stock. Got the “we are 3-4 months out from shipping”. Called up a few other retailers, none had any stock. Looked on eBay, “purchased” one to get a message from the seller that they don’t have it.

Anyone have any suggestions for a RMM that holds up? I live in a climate with hot summers and cold winters. Also run a full aluminum skid plate under the car which probably cooks the RMM a bit. Anyone besides CPE using a bushing material other than polymer? My old COBB RMM is toast. I can grab the oil pan and move it fore/aft about 1.5”.

The Vibra Technics mounts use a similar EPDM rubber compound (or are they both ALL 'natural rubber'? [dunno]) to the CP-E, and they may even have a tiny bit less NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) than the compound used in the CP-E mount, at least in the VT 'fast road' configuration/spec.

I believe that Ron has these on the shelf ready for delivery.

Ditto what Msport said. CPE or vibra are the way to go

at the risk of thread-jacking - do motor mounts, even aftermarket ones, eventually wear out? I assume so but I'd never really thought about it. I think I've had the Cobb RMM and the Powerflex Bushings installed on my car for the last... uh... a long time. Since I got it.

I’ve put about 300 miles on the Vibra Technics RMM. Much stiffer than the wore out COBB. There is a “sweet spot” at idle occasionally where things get a little rough. Hopefully it gets softer with break in.

Excellent control, no more weird clacks or noises when I shift. Would buy again.

My COBB RMM has been on the car since 13 Feb 2015. No sign of wear yet! Have my VibraTechnics ready to go when needed. Might replace when I get my COBB downpipe put back on when smog checks are eliminated soon!

How many miles?

Mine looked fine, but the bushings were hogged out. Noticed it one day when I was changing the oil and grabbed the oil pan to pull myself under the car. Could wiggle the bottom of the motor over an inch.

Probably have somewhere around 110,000 miles on the COBB. Had it installed a few months after I got the car.
