Airjor13 do you have a down the fender pic with the 205's on it? Do they sit flush with the fender?
Sorry I don't have a pic at the moment but they are not quite flush, maybe quarter of an inch from the fender

Arhhhhh. You got me all excited for a second.
I'm running Comp2's 205/45/16 on 16x7 +42 with Garageline 15mm spacers and on Mountune springs. No rubbing yet, but they've only been on for 30 min. Went on a 15 min. drive but nothing crazy. Still have to test with more compression.

Sorry but I just had to look as it did not seem correct data, this is from the tirerack site.

SIZE Rim Width Range Meas. Rim Width Sect. Width Tread Width
215/40R17 7-8.5" 7.5" 8.6" 8.2"

That is a very wide 215, tire companies assign some very arbitrary numbers to their tires at times, I had some 225 Hoosiers that measured at least 240 if not 245mm wide.

That much width and would be best on an 8-8.5" wide rim and work on a 9 most likely.

I was just going to post this when I saw the above post so had to comment there first.

My latest setup for the street.

225/24/15 BFG Rival S on Konig Helix roll formed 15x9 which is the optimum width as tested by the guys at Grassrootsmotorsports and Andy Hollis a many many times championship driver.

They still work quite well on an 8" wide rim which I would of been OK using for the street but none fit over my BBKs with the right offset.

BC Racing, race spec springs, from 2J-R, lowered for streetability and more important correct geometry, the 23" diameter tires make the wheel gap look bigger than it would be with taller tires.

They are stretched but to the point of a performance gain, any more stretch and it starts going down hill from there.

Any side photos or from the back?
