I will believe it when I see it for sale here in the US.
Many times it is speculated and/or even Ford says it will happen.
But then for some reason it just doesn't.

You're right, you don't need my approval-not any more than I need another faceless person on the internet claiming that they 'know' or have 'insider information'. Being part of the Focus community, I see plenty claims by people that are supposedly 'in-the-know', and just like all of them the information you've posted is conflicting.

I'm not for or against awd. I'll take the RS regardless of which wheels are/aren't driven.

Today I have heard that Specifications for the Focus RS are final. It can't last too long that Ford will publish them, because release is in 2015.
Some things that have talked about here are right, but some are wrong.
All pictures in the first post's link show only a focus st body. The look of the Focus RS will be total different.

Just a guess but maybe look at the WRX sti and new Golf R for about where it could land for Pricing barring any Dealer gouging or mark ups.. If they do more than 5000 I will be impressed..

I hope they do it but not holding my breath. Ford is notorious for not bringing the good stuff over here to the States. I really hope it happens and its not 3,500+lbs and 250hp or else it will be a sad joke. If they do it make sure its a real performer 300+hp and less than 2Tons!

I was told that the release was for the detroit auto show. The "ST" on the dyno at work looked just liked the pictures and was told the same that it wont look like that. I cant wait to see what the final look will be.

i found a good way to say this! This exact ST i seen out and about and it was FWD it had no rear diff or rear axles! There, i think that is a safe way for me to say what i wanted to and was trying to before.
