Integrate digital cluster ESP32

I've seen this project on GitHub that seems hella cool. Basically it uses analog inputs from the car cluster to display RPMs and other values. Since is pulling them directly from the ECU using the cluster ECU values, how should i go about routing them?

Physical limitations aside, I'd be surprised if this worked given the amount of bullshit Ford routes through the BCM rather than the ECUs directly. It says it has CANBus integration, but I don't think any of the signals reaching the cluster in this car are analog. The repository suggests it's designed to work with an aftermarket ECU like a Megasquirt rather than a factory ECU.
