With even a Cobb stage 1 making so much more low end and fun to drive, what's the catch?

To further clarify, I just don't understand why the stock tune isn't more like this... I have lost zero daily drivability, same MPG's, same amounts of torque steer once the midrange power kicks in, but SO much more fun to drive! So what's the catch? Will the drivetrain suffer breakdowns sooner...

Cobb OTS tune at ~2500 miles, could I benefit from step colder plugs?

Stock car with only drop-in, but also, to add: In my area our premium fuel is rated at 92 octane but tuners have said that our 92 in the NW is actually good quality and more like 93. This has been confirmed by those in my area to be true, they have no problems with 93 octane tunes... So is that...

Receiving my AP soon with only Cobb OTS tunes, any other free better OTS tunes out there?

Got a deal on a used unmarried AP with only Cobb OTS tunes coming and sorry if this is a dumb question... I know that Stratified and Mountune, Tune+, etc all offer OTS and custom tunes, but is there a community/forum or whatever where some OTS tunes are shared or is this even possible? I have a...

What is the current state of turbo upgrades available - Spring 2018

Can anyone update one or more of the old sticky's regarding turbo upgrades when the scene has changed so much? No DHM, Adam/Tune+ doesn't do x-37 anymore, all kinds of new, bigger stuff w/slower spool, etc.. So, I'm kind of lost looking for a small, wide powerband turbo upgrade, where I can do...

Flowmaster Delta Boost module - 4 psi boost gain for $239

I know, I know, yet another inline boost module but for those of us who don't want to drop $500 on an AP when we don't plan on any other performance mods, AND leaves no trace of ECU flashes for warranty purposes, it seems like a legit way to add a little boost... It's piggyback device and uses a...

Can anyone PM me a link to the Ford approved Sync3 2.2 files?

Edit: Forget it! For a good reason! I simply took the latest Beta update (3.0.18025), it just updates an apps folder. So I simply used the whole previous version (3.0.17276), copied over the latest app folder, deleted the old one, edited to that new app folder name and renamed the autoinstall...

Oil change intervals and other related tips?

The only thing I can find in the owners manual or the ST supplements either shows a 10,000 mile OCI... This seems twice as long as it should be for DI turbo motor... Also, any issues using aftermarket oil filters or is pretty much anything other than super cheap or Fram orange OK to use? Thanks...

EASIEST way to boost octane just a little

OK, so where I live we have 92 octane at the pump and I want to run 93 octane tunes and if I travel to California, like I likely will, I can always use a bit more, but what product is inexpensive and readily available that I could add a little when I go to fill up? Sorry if this is sounds like a...

So Mountune AP package for $589 a great starting point? Also octane Q's...

Getting my new '17 FiST delivered in the next day or so and want to do some basics immediately. Apparently the Mountune package is cheaper and better included tune than the Cobb package, does this sound like a perfect starting point and maybe add a Stratisfied tune later? Also, how much lee-way...

Yet ANOTHER new '17 Magnetic owner here!

I didn't want to pay for the Recaro's and sunroof of the one they had in stock so I'm stuck waiting a few days with Fusion Hybrid for a loaner, LOL! Got a $1100 dealer discount on top of rebate, so it was $18,235 with only the black wheel option. The test drive definitely lived up to the hype, I...
