Hi folks,

I have 205/50-16 WS60 blizzaks and to be honest don't find them that great--particularly in take-off traction in snow. Found a guy locally selling hakkapeliitta 7's in a 195/50-16 in almost new condition(which actually gets me closer to stock diameter .9% vs. 2.6% for the blizzaks). What do ya think, will I be happier with the nokians? I've always heard good things about them and they'll be slightly narrower which should help, plus they're on those cute ford 8 spoke fiesta wheels!

Thanks!

Are these studded, or did he get them without??

Either way, yes, they will be MUCH better than the (too) much vaunted (on here and elsewhere), but IMHO very over-rated Blizzaks, which wear quickly, and are useless when down to their 'all-season' depths.

I plan on using the R2s in 195/50-16 on Sparco terras eventually, but wish that the general altimax Arctics were available in that size, since they would wear better, and stand up to the occasional winter 'heat waves' much better.
