Hello everyone!

I'm Nate, from Cleveland, Ohio but currently living in southeast Wisconsin. I bought my Fiesta ST almost a year ago and I love it. i really think it's the best bang for the buck sports car. I've decided I'll be making some modifications to the car and thought this would be a great resource. Can't wait to talk with you all and make some new friends! If you're nearby let me know because I'd love to make new friends.

Welcome! You're right. It's a great car for the money, and it really shines with just a few mods.

Thank you! Do you have any recommendations for mods I should be looking into?
I'd say a rear motor mount will do the most to make it more fun to drive. For a daily, don't get a real stiff one, but anything's better than the stock one. I have all mountune stuff. I have a short shifter which I really like, but some people don't like them. Shortens the throws, but it's a little more effort because of leverage, but it snicks into gear very nicely.

A tune, naturally. The thing I like about my tune is the low end torque. Putting around town, it feels like I'm driving a big block V8. It just pulls. More power at the top of the range, too. There are lots of tuners out there, and you can get 300+ horsepower, if you're into that. I just like mine a little quicker than stock, and it's had no effect on mileage.
You can get more oomph from a custom tune and a few more parts, like an intercooler.

I'm not going to lower the car because the roads around here are nasty. If this will be your daily driver, definitely get some different wheels and real snow tires for the winter.

A motor mount will really make that much of a difference? I had no idea. I'm also new to all of this. It won't be my daily, mostly used to cruise around on nice weekends and go to car shows. I'll look more into tuning, but would need to find someone I can really trust. I really appreciate your insight!

Yeah, I didn't get a RMM at first, because it was really smooth. No vibration at all. After about 10,000 miles, it softened up, and I had to wait a split second on shifts when I drove it hard, because the engine was moving around so much.
The new RMM did vibrate just a bit at idle, but it's smoother now. Turning up the radio causes more vibration than the mount does, but now I can shift it much quicker between gears when I'm getting on it, and it tracks straighter. Less wheelspin and torque steer, too. It just feels more controllable.
As for tuners, it's like talking about oil. Lots of opinions. Just hang out and read what people are saying. I'm very content with my plug and play. I don't even keep the AP in the car, let alone plugged in.
But, this is a FiST, and everybody likes MORE POWER! more power.jpg
