Hey guys this is the style coolant tank I have currently on my 2014 fiesta ST located in CA , I have not been able to find the bottle for sale ANYWHERE , only place I have seen is on EBAY but the part is in the UK and they do not ship to the US , I don’t want to have to be forced to spend 300$ for this entire kit with all hoses etc JUST for the bottle . Thankyou

Try some junkyards. I think it's the same part on all Fiestas.

yeah I went to ford last week and they tried to sell me a bottle that is identical to mine but only had one hose connection but I will have to check junkyards 👍🏼

Wasn't this one a part of the recall for the temp sensor and over heating issue?

As far as I understand it, the 2014-2015MY that had the recall done had THAT weird bladder-looking coolant tank. There's a level sensor in that reservoir. Not sure if you can delete it and go for a different reservoir.

yeah that egg shape tank/reservoir was recalled and replaced with a triangle/pie shaped tank. do a google "image" search for your tank

Maybe the tank shape has nothing to do with the recall and is simply an updated part # that Ford made later on? Might explain why your 2018 has the triangle and mine has the egg, since I got my recall done this year? Wild guess lol.

It could also be since your 2018 never had that recall it has different parts from the 2014? Just like you have the different evap system too.

That's very plausible, it's my understanding they just added a coolant level sensor...

I thought they added a level sensor in that egg shaped tank for the recalled cars... my dad's 2019 as well as my 2017 still have the triangle tank, and my tank even got replaced about two years ago due to a leak.

And the plot thickens

My reservoir got replaced when the mechanic noticed it was leaking when I had all the belts etc, done at 107,000 miles.

Why does OP still have the old red coolant in his egg shaped tank? 😂. I'd say you should probably ask your local Ford for a replacement part since they can see them all on the computer.

I believe that Dorman makes a replacement as well, just not sure if it is this newer style, or the old, more square original version.

I definitely get it if you do not trust Dorman, even though they always claim to try to improve upon the OEM design/materials.
