my Fiestas ambient temperature reading drops to below 30F when its well in the 90s then my AC stops blowing cold air. if i unplug the battery for a while it resets and temperature reading works for a bit. i have replaced the ambient sensor in the front grill but still has issue. if anyone knows of a solution i would greatly appreciate it.

I have the same issue. Did you resolve it?

Voltage drop test between various grounds and battery. All circuits must be fully loaded in order for the test to be effective. Disconnect any/all aftermarket additions until the issue ceases. For example, I had intermittent issues with delayed wiper malfunction on turn signal activation. Turned out the aftermarket LED headlights were dumping a bunch of noise off the ground, which messed with BCM (Body Control Module) function.
