A/C problems

I have a 2015 FiST and a few weeks ago it started clicking when I started my car, I found out it was the blend door actuator, I ordered a new one and I just put it in but now my ac only blows out of the the top(windshield) and the bottom(feet). I also noticed when I was plugging the wire harness into the new actuator that a “little red plastic clip thing” was laying on the floor mat. It belongs to the harness but I have no clue how it attaches or if it even has anything to do with the problem. And help would be appreciated.

The red plastic part is a piece that goes into the male end of the connector for the actuator.
