Active Exhaust Actuator issues

Hi, I have a MK8 Fiesta ST Performance edition, when I bought the car it came with a Scorpion Active exhaust system installed. Annoyingly the tailpipe ‘fell off’ (I hope) and it ripped the active exhaust valve off along with the actuator and plug. I have managed to rewire the plug and source replacement parts but the new actuator is not lining up properly in the exhaust remaining closed about 75% of the way. It’s also not moving when changing between drive modes.
It is throwing up fault codes saying it has either detected a short to earth which I have confirmed there isn’t one or that it cannot find the location of the exhaust valve. Does anyone know how to recalibrate the exhaust using anything like forscan?
