Adding heated mirrors to non-Recaro car

Hey all, I've been searching around trying to find out how to go about it, but I'm wondering if anybody here has heard of or installed heated mirrors on their non-Recaro FiST?

Up here in northern NY, anything that's heated helps lol. Heated mirrors are available on every other model of Fiesta without having to get a $2,000 seat package lol.

What do y'all think about it?

Yes, its possible I did mine. They work of the rear defogger switch. Remove door panel unbolt mirror and bolt up new mirror, plug is the same. Just be sure to buy one's with turn signals. Plenty of them on E-bay.

I started to look, but then my nephew arrived and we had to build some Lego machines lol. I was figuring that if I couldn't find black ones (or any in general), I was going to buy some through Ford and have them installed at the dealer lol.

Do heated mirrors make a difference?

Just wondering - I've always lived in So. Cal - I remember once years ago my mirror was foggy so I turned on the mirror heater and it seemed to clear up a little faster, but in REALLY cold climates is it a huge difference?

Some of our work trucks have heated mirrors and some don't. I am very glad mine has heated mirrors it makes a huge difference especially early in the morning when they are just covered in humid muggy fog dew. They definitely help dry off the rain, also definitely help with snow/ice.
