Ambient Lighting only works in cup colders?

So i just found out that my fiesta is supposed to have more then just the cup holders that light up... go figure lol.

Has anyone else experienced the foot wells and dash not working but the cup holders work no problem ?

Not exactly sure where to even start looking for issues with it, the lighting in my focus st always worked

What year? The part on the passenger side dash was only like the first 2 years. But both footwells should light up.

It should light up in both footwells, above the glove box and of course the cup holders.

I'd look in the footwells and see if the lights are still there. Maybe disconnected by a previous owner or maybe a snipped wire.

I've always been a little miffed they took out the glovebox light, too. It's not a big deal, but it would be nice.

Thats what i was thinking, I didnt even know it was supposed to have them til my buddy that used to own the car told me they just stopped working

Looks like you'll want to take a peek at Connector 316, 317 and (maybe) Splices 266-269.

Coming from a 17 to a 19, I feel like I traded it for a back up camera. I imagine I'll attempt retrofitting at some point though.

It’s hard to tell during the day but I believe it was just unplugged. I plugged it in where the connectors meet on the center console. It looks like it works, I’ll find out tonight

Some people with window tint don't like the reflection in the passenger side window because it blocks their view of the mirror. Might've been unplugged for that reason; or service personnel just forgot to plug it back in.

It was unplugged on the side of the center console, plugged it back in and it works now
