Just wanted to know what the best place in SD is for tri-tip sammiches.. I may be going there this weekend and I know that SD is known for their tri-tip sammiches.. Yes, I could google that shit, but I want locals' opinions.. Thankles!!!

I'm not a local really... but Phil's is excellent. Check them out if you can. The El Toro is amazing.

Dunno about SD, but the best tri-tip sandwich I ever had was at Firestone Grill in SLO. Sorry, no help here [tongue]
