Hey guys,

I was just wondering if you guys know of a way to lower the sensitivity of the MFT's auto dimming...

Cause the other day I ran into a problem where it was raining out and every time the wipers gets in front of the sensor, it'll immediately dim down and after it passes the sensor it'll brighten up again and same thing as the wiper comes back down...

its does get a little be annoying after a while...
Any idea?

Yes i have seen this too. Even passing through the shadow of a tree will change the brightness level. I find this annoying as it draws my eye from the road.

Try putting something over the sensor on the dash.
Maybe that will keep it at one brightness.

Well there is a second where you can turn off the auto brightness.... so doing that would be a smarter idea then putting something over it... but its just that at night it won't turn the brightness down

Then I guess you found the fix.

That's how I do it.
I just don't use the auto lamp feature..

You can adjust the Auto Dim Manual Offset to all the way positive.
The transition will not be as drastic however it does still change.

Just go to the settings menu.
Then select Display in the left column.
Next you can adjust the Auto Dim Manual Offset to all the way positive.
