Hey Y'all, I totaled my '14 in a commuting accident in January. 49,700 miles... so close! Searched every car imaginable and guess what... I'm picking up a lightly used '16 next week. I love this car.

My '14 was fully loaded with Mishimoto intercooler, Recaro's, Tune +, Wastegate actuator, turbosmart BOV, short shifter, among about $2500 of other stuff. Insurance took it and never let me know where it was or how I could extract parts. (F-you Anchor General of San Diego)

So here I am: round 2. I don't want another Mishi intercooler because it required cutting and the bumper was stretched last time. Other than that it was a nice piece. I am looking for a direct fit piece in the $300-400 range.

Every option available last year has subsequently dried up and sold out. Are there any value intercoolers left for the FiST?

BTW I needed to get a '16 or '17 because they are going to that lame 3-cylinder motor in the next gen and I can tell you with no authority that motor will be a nightmare. as my dad always says, "If it in't broke, don't fix it"... 3 cylinder, HA!

I'm in to hear the recommendations people will give. I would probably say Depo IC but I'm sure there may be better options in the $300-$400 range.

Depo racing is the best bang for your buck. $329 shipped and its the same thing as the COBB. Any other factory fit intercooler will cost more and wont perform any better.

Checkout the FMIC from Whoosh. $349 and the same core as basically all other "factory fit" FMIC. https://whoosh-motorsports.myshopif...esta-whoosh-brand-front-mount-intercooler-kit

I ordered one from Whoosh the day it was released and love it! There was only one small(and easy) mod that had to be made to get it to fit, other then that it was bolt in. Details here http://www.fiestastforum.com/forum/...FMIC-349-99-FREE-SHIPPING?p=217983#post217983

He also has a discount code. FIST5. Makes the price in line with MTC/Depo/etc.

Another vote for the Whoosh IC. With his forum discount it's only a couple dollar difference from the other low priced options.
