There is probably a check valve in that line and you might be on the wrong side of it. I have not added one to mine so I wouldn't know specifics, but have installed them before on other cars

That’s kinda what I was thinking after doing some research but I wasn’t 100%

Yes that’s kinda what it looks like to me too now to figure out a way to move it to see if that does anything at all

The best place to connect a boost gauge on the FiST is under the MAP sensor using a MapTap or similar.
This way none of the plastic hoses need to be cut and you can always return to 100% OEM easily.

I knew of those but I figured since my buddy had installed boost gauges he knew what he was talking about [emoji1787]

The downside of the MapTap is the cost but I still think it is the best way.

Right that was a big downfall for my atm but I’m hoping if I move it to the other side of the valve it’ll work fully

If that's the line I think it is, the line you've tapped into is before the throttle body and thus will not read vacuum, only boost. You need a MAPTap or similar device to get boost and vac.

EDIT: wait, you're only getting vacuum, not boost? Maybe that's not the line I think it is. Hm.
