Buying an Accessport on eBay?

Can you get an AP off of eBay that was used on another car (most are for Subaru I've seen), then send it to someone like Stratified to Tune+ and have them load the Fiesta software on it without any issues?

I tried to search, but couldn't find my answer. I'm sure it's right under my nose.

I asked Cobb this question a while back. You have to send the unit back to Cobb where they can change the base firmware to whatever other platform they support. There is a fee of $150. It needs to be one of the new v3 units though.

Thank you. I figured it was something like that.

Only Cobb can do that though, not one of the other tuners?
