Can I run Cobb Stage 1 while completely stock?

2015 FiST with 47k miles and I am thinking about getting a Cobb Access Port for it. The car is completely stock - is it safe to run their Stage 1 tune? The sales rep I spoke with told me that changing out the intercooler and filter isn't needed until Stage 2, but I am wondering what everyone else's experience has been like.

I do not have any mechanical ability, but from what I understand, installation is pretty simple - is there anything I need to look out for while running a tune or setting it up? Are there any concerns with impacting reliablity?

Thank you!

stage 1 is a stock-hardware tune. You can flash it without any aftermarket hardware.

then you shouldn't be doing any of this.

flash = "installing" new firmware. In this case you're uploading a new MAP to your car.

aftermarket hardware is self-explanatory. It's hardware you put on your car after it came from the factory.

You should start watching youtube videos and learning about this before you do anything.
