This is a place to post photos of you shift knob.

I didn't like what was on the market for the Fiesta so I decided to adapt my own.
Here is a photo of the prototype.
It is not the ball so much but the adapter ring that I made.

Here is the finished ball

I will be having the adaptor ring made and available soon.
The ball is available in many colors and styles.

Nice ball! How much do the balls run versus the adapter or are they sold together?

The balls start at less than $50.00.
I don't have a price on the adapter yet.

This one is a polycarbonate, so no.
However solid metal heavy ones are available.

We will have to get together soon so that you can feel my balls.

As I said before, they will be available in all colors.

I just got the price back from the machine shop for the Shift Ball Adapter.

It is a little more than I expected.

It is however a high quality American made piece, made from 6061-T6 aluminum.

The shift ball itself is available from a well known vender, available in many Ford matching colors, with or without graphics, logos, or shift patterns.

The price of the ball starts at less than $50.00 (mine was $46.00).

The adapter will be about $45.00.

If there is any interest please contact me by PM as we are trying to gauge the quantity of adapters to have made.

Please tell your Focus friends as this will fit their cars as well.

Do you know if this adapter could be used with other shift knobs? I've found some I like that don't have a recessed bottom, and it would be cool to have a generic solution that would work in those cases.

The adaptor was deigned to work with a generic ROUND ball with a diameter of 2" to 2 1/16".
It replaces the jam nut that is normally used with the ball.
The ball will NOT be supplied as there are MANY available from various sites.
Only the adaptor will be supplied by the vendor.

As for an update on availability, I am speaking with a manufacturer tomorrow.
