Haha I know I'm not the best at wrapping and I'm also very impatient.. The manifold was a PITA to wrap and then I ran out of wrap when I was doing the dump tube lol
How bad was it ? I gotta wrap my dhm header and I'm not looking forward to it.

Only reason I said it was a pain was because the runners come pretty close to each other so trying to get my fingers in between to feed the wrap around was annoying. It wasn't hard to do. I would say the manifold took me a half hour to do. That was taking my time and making sure it was done semi-neat

Will be installed and tuned within the next two weeks
Looks pretty sweet, where did you get the cover for the hot side of the turbo and what manifold are you running?
I bought a used cyborg turbo and I'm thinking about getting the BP manifold and wrapping it.

That's exactly what I am using. Got the BP manifold, sent it to sourskittle to have his guy check/reinforce any weak spots and add the ewg flange. The blanket is a universal one from eBay, sourskittle sold that to me as well when he did my cyborg.

Did it need a lot of reinforcing?

Cyborg upgraded stock Turbocharger system

fantastic...so my car is going to burn to the ground...
No... Of course not.... Ford updated the software, so no way your poorly cast cylinder head will crack now, lmao.

Watch... All the ecoboost F-150's that are suddenly having brake failures now, will be fixed with a "reflash of the vehicle manager", lol.

So... What the problem? 161,00 1.6L engines will built likely will be cracking cylinder heads due to "localized over heating" that the operator can not see or prevent.
So what are we going to do to fix the cylinder head issue ?
#1 change the motor we use in the fusion so it doesn't suffer the issue anymore and get its ass kicked by the Camery more than it already is..
#2 the remaining engines we already have built, install those into a group of care not likely to have any warranty recourse do to mods.
#3 the 161,000 escapes we already have out there nearly burning people to death due to poorly cast or poorly designed cylinder heads, ummmm.... Update there tune and change the heat shield so the oil runs off the engine and under the car; not onto the turbo. That should stop the head from cracking !!!

The same team that worked on the focus DSG and powerstroke 6.0L diesel figured that fix out.

Don't you guys worry about my safety guys, lol. When I get a non-cracked head, I will be modding it so this doesn't happen again.... You know...... Like what ford SHOULD HAVE DONE.

F-150 has no brakes.
Focus ST has no pistons
And now we have our own little awesome niche, cracking cylinder heads !!

SS, I thought you cracked your head on your lunch break? You said you didn't wait for the engine to warm up before you dropped the hammer on it?
