Have a theory that my clutch position sesnor may be binding and not giving good position status. Sensor is cheap but seems like a pain to get to, anyone with any suggestions for replacing it?

it’s doable with the clutch pedal in, my buddy and I swapped ours to test when his wasn’t working, so he bought a new one and replaced it the same way. i can consult him about it.
also, it’s possible that it could just be sending the wrong signal without binding.
get yourself a forscan tool (there’s one that goes to usb-A and it’s $20 on amazon) and you can check to see the level of the position sensor as you push the pedal in. what’s happening?

I should have added thatm sensor output isn't smooth via ForScan.

Let me know what your friend says, wondering if you need to pull out the airbag to do it then.... I hate messing with airbags.....
