U016A code
Twice in the last week or 2 (I dont drive it much) my 2015 ST180 has had an issue starting.
The first time it cranked once more than usual (not major but I noticed it) then second time it cranked twice no start and there was buzzing from the dash for about 2 seconds, tried again same issue, tried once more and she started.
The second was after filling up so I was thinking evap but I scanned the car no codes, scanned it while driving and it threw a U016A. No EML or nothing. Cleared the code but it came back so it’s persistent.
Happens 1/10 times if even. Tried my mechanic, auto electrician even motor factors specialising in ford. All either didn’t know, couldn’t get the car in for a month or couldn’t get the car in for a month and wanted to charge 150€ to scan the car because my “scanner isn’t good enough”.
Battery tested and is good.
Im looking for ford specialists in my area but they’re few and far between so I ask all of you great people: Any ideas?
