Compatibility between 2013 Fiesta and 2018 Fiesta ACM

I recently bought a used 2013 Ford Fiesta. I found the ACM, front panel, and media screen from a 2018 Fiesta on eBay that fits physically and provides power to the head unit and the front panel but does not play audio among other issues. My research has suggested that I might be able to solve my problems by reprogramming it using FORScan and a USB-OBD2 adapter. Before I give in to sunken-cost fallacy and buy myself the adapter I would need, do you all think this is something solvable with that method? Are the two even compatible? Is there anything I should consider before I proceed?
