Component Speakers Wiring (w Amp) - Need Advice

I’m looking to upgrade my speakers with a component set.

I got a T-Harness to run out of the head unit, a component set, an amp, dsp, and active loc because the dsp doesn’t take high level.

The issue I’m running into is that I don’t know where to run the crossovers to that doesn’t involve going through the door grommet since the wire for the tweeter and woofer doesn’t split until inside the door.

Only option I’m thinking is an active setup without the crossovers so I have a separate channel for tweeter and woofer, mounting the tweeter somewhere with new speaker wire, then tapping the full range speaker wire in the kick panel for the woofer. This way I think the full range signal from the kick panel to the woofer wouldn’t matter since I could set the crossovers with the dsp. And the tweeter would be mounted somewhere with wire separate from the woofer in the kick panel.

Can anyone let me know if this would work or if there’s a simpler way and i’m over complicating it, I’d appreciate it a lot.

That grommet was an absolute PITA. They don't clip back in easily like i've seen on other cars. It's as if you have to reach behind them through the car's sheet metal. I gave up and ended up taping them. An active setup may be a good solution.
