Cycle ABS

I'm doing rotors,steel lines, and fluid change. I'm interested in what tools are available for cycling the ABS? Anyone with experience or recommendations would be great with the ABS cycle procedure. I'm interested in cycling the ABS valve/pump, not slamming on the brakes. thanks!

There was a Beta on Forscan for ABS. Not sure it’s still available. Worth emailing them.
I think thats the route I'm going to try. Buy a ELM327 (OBD reader) and download the free Forscan software for laptop.

I don't believe cycling the ABS pump is necessary when performing a fluid flush. I think the ABS pump needs to be cycled only if air is entered into the system or if moisture is a major concern.

When replacing the OEM fluid/caliper lines with braided steel lines, air will get into the system.. no? I will need to cycle the ABS, as air will get in the lines. I was looking on user experiences for ABS options and or hardware usage.

No. I have done the complete brake job, including the calipers. If you don’t drain the MC - by accident , you are fine. Check the threads for more info

I have my Motul DOT 5.1 ready to go :)
I am assuming that you are putting in s/s brake lines because you expect to do some, ahem, vigorous driving with the FiST - like, say, on a track? If so, you need to invest into BF that would have high wet boiling temperature. I am not familiar with Motul 5.1, but check with the interwebs - Motul 600 or Castrol SRF (that's the one that I use) may be something to go with. The SRF is pricey - but it the nectar of the BF gods.
