DNA adjustable control arms

Hi,

I own one of the limited edition Fiesta M Sport editions. I am interested in buying the DNA adjustable control arms to gain extra positive caster to improve turn in, steering feel and front end grip.
I was just wandering if any of you have these control arms fitted and if you could provide any feedback/reviews as to whether it’s a mod worth doing?
Thanks

If you know what you are doing regarding steering and suspension geometry (measuring and calculating it!) and take your car to the track fine tuning your settings its worth the money! If you just change caster and expect all the positive things you mention to happen, it is maybe a bad idea. In general DNA suspension components are of good quality, used in racing and rallying.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve been speaking to a garage here in Wales and they specialise in geometry and suspension set ups. They have worked with various rally teams and won the British touring car championship.
They said that they’d be able to fit the control arms and set everything up right. I guess the people fitting these need to know what they’re doing as they look very complicated to fit and set up right!
I just want to make sure that it’s worth the price before buying them.

If they can do it and you trust them it will be a good upgrade. My personal opinion: a perfect car is built by improving parts with the following priorities:

- safety
- tires+wheels!!!
- suspension (including geometry ofc!)
- weight
- engine

ofc there are many other things like looks and durability, but you 100% do not want to drive with a bad tire (no grip!) or suspension but 300bhp. So I think geometry improvements are worth it! Even if people love to brag about how much HP they make (honestly 90% of them do not even know how to define power/energy/force)

I’m not too bothered about big power as the car is used as a fast road car.
The car currently has Bilstein B8 struts valved to M Sport spec and Eibach pro springs.
The reason I was looking at the DNA adjustable control arms is that I could then set the geometry up perfectly with extra caster and get the camber equal on both sides. This should improve my tyre contact patch and give better grip and handling on the road.
