Did you ask your tuner about your boost issues? I think a good majority of us are in the US and use a different tuning method....

Tuner has fobbed me off blaming the car !

cheers for replies guys.

Tuning should be relatively similar surely ?

From my knowledge the wastegate duty cycle is off hence the low boost issue.

mods are

larger front mount intercooler.
hard pipe/silicone hose boost pipe kit.
99 ron fuel.
smaller/lightweight water pump pulley.
solid cross over pipe.
silicone hose/induction kit ram air.
larger turbo elbow.
turbosmart 7psi turbo actuator.
one step colder spark plugs gapped to 0.028".
decat.
Mishimoto lower temp stat.
timing belt/waterpump replaced by myself so that rules out a timing issue.
vacuum test with zero leaks.
3inch cat back exhaust.
Smoke test passed.
compression good.
no faults.
doesnt use oil or coolant.

Could someone provide me some datalog pictures of their cars running around 1.55bar of boost please so i can compare.

if you could post me these parameters up as in the picture that would be great cheers.

It's actually a pretty big difference, Europe uses a MAF based tuning system instead of the American MAP style tuning we have...

since you have the aftermarket WGA, need to ensure the preload setting is within spec, otherwise it can cause all sort of boost control issues. They dont come pre-set.

The company who tuned my car blamed it on the turbosmart actuator and said their flash tune is designed to work with the stock one so i fitted a new oem actuator and spent the day logging and adjusting the preload and it made no difference to the data logs apart from right at the beginning of the rev range and made the car pick up quicker, i went from 3 turns of preload to 5,7,9,full and then only one turn (car felt terrible low down at 1 turn preload)

other tuners who have seen my datalogs said straight away its the wastegate duty cycle and thats set via the flash/tune.

My friend has what we class as a stage 2 tune so same mods (different branded parts and tuner) and his makes 1.55 bar of boost. Our datalogs are pretty much identical apart from the wgdc, his is much higher iirc 78% which make sense from my knowledge since if mine is lower its bleeding boost rather than pressurising the motor. Unless thats not how it works.

thanks for the reply.
