Not too sure about that, but possible. I run step colder with stock turbo and custom piggyback with no issues since getting gap correct.
I'd love to see the Condition of the plugs and color of the porcelain *

He stated that setting the gap yielded only temporary reprive over swapping back to stock plugs. Keep in mind, his engine config and tuning are different than yours. My MC would slowly foul plugs like that. Had to run hotter.

I am not sure if you are referencing the OP. I was posting to @4DGC who as far as I can see only did an initial gap set on the NGKs at 0.28 with tune and never reset to a different gap for any reprive suggested with said tune. I am not disagreeing with you by any means, but without knowledge of the NGK plug appearance at removal, we are all grasping for straws which was the reason for my suggestion and not specific answer to the issue.(y)
