General Altimax snow tire sale

Just an fyi to those looking for snow tires the General Altimax 185/65/15 and other similar sizes are on super sale at TireRack. After mail in rebate they're $160 for 4. I bought this tire last year with steelies @ $40ea and they were really amazing in the snow and even the ice. Great deal.

I had 185/60 last winter and they did great. I'm wonder if 185/65 would give any more benefits...

I believe mine from my 13' Fiesta were stock size which is one of the two sizes you listed and they did remarkably well.

Just ordered these in 15" and some wheels from Tire Rack. There's a rebate, too on top of the sale. The rims I got are on closeout, too. Since I'm close enough to do pickup, it's a pretty smoking deal!
Add in gas for the trip to Tire Rack, the OEM TPMS sensors and reset tool, mounting and balancing and I'm in right about $800.00. Cheapest winter wheel/tire combo I've ever purchased!

I just picked up 185/60/15s for $317 shipped - and there's two $50 rebates available, so $217 for the set is awesome.

I picked up a set of 15" Fiesta steelies locally for $125 w/ TPMS. One has a tiny bend and some curbing at the lip since they came off a car with a wrecked front end, so I'm going to keep it as a spare and use the rim from my full size spare as the 4th wheel
