Glove box damper/stopper is not fixed properly.

Hello,
I just got my ford fiesta mk8. The glove box damper/stopper is keep popping out of the place it should be(after 3-4 open and close). I attach the picture of the part where the damper should be placed.

Could you please let me know what is the problem.
