It's like driving a "stripper" car. There are little reminders that you didn't get it with all the options, so there are blank spots in the dash and such.

In this case, there are slots in the glove box, and nothing in them. Those slots serve a purpose, and strapping in the owner's manual makes that space much more usable.

I went and got the glovebox light, too. It snaps right in.

Now, I have to figure out how to wire it. I have no schematic, and no clue.

There was a bunch documented about this a while back....I was going to do it but never did, there is a bit of work involved since 17 and above does not have the wiring for it so you need to add it in. Check out the link below, it is to the original thread along with a link to the required harness you will need. A guy on here made a nifty jumper harness so you could just pop the new harness in-line without replacing the whole thing....I tried getting one but I think he is done making them....bummer!!

Yeah, that sucks. I don't feel like tearing into the dash just for a glove box light. Too much work.
I was hoping I could find some power source I could just hook it up to, but I'm not too savvy with electrics. I have no idea what goes where.

Fortunately, the junkyard has them for next to nothing. Hooking up the lights is a little more work.
