Thanks for the welcome. Nothing was "wrong" with the STI. It was a good car. In fact, it was my 2nd STI. I owned a 08 for a couple years. But after watching lots and lots of Fiesta ST reviews, I decided to test drive one. Then came my 2nd and 3rd test drives (last one was by myself). Despite the beautiful boxer sound and the AWD grip for days, the FiST was SO much more fun to drive. It's very difficult for me to put into words. Put simply, Tthe FiST puts more smiles on my face than the STI.

Yeah, it's an amazing car right out of the box. Aside from 20% tint all around and some debadging, the mod bug hasn't bit me.... yet! I was planning to hold out for a 2016 white ST. Black was my 2nd choice. Then the dealer called on Monday and offered an additional 2k for my trade (beat Carmax by 3.5k total), so I pulled the trigger. After seeing the metallic fleck in the sun, I am actually really happy I got Tuxedo Black. I feel bad for those who miss out on the color in 2016.

Welcome to the only forum that matters. heh. I had a Cobb RT-Spec WRX back in the day. The FiST is an exceptional drivers car. Sure it's not as fast in a straight line but it is a TRUE drivers car. If you plan on modding, the two mods I'd start out with is Cobb AP V3 and an FSWERKs quick shift kit. Both are about equal in terms of bang for the buck.

welcome my man. I would definitely recommend a rear motor mount and accessport when the time comes as the first two mods. Enjoy the fiesta!
