Low beam: Phillips Xtreme Vision
High beam: Phillips Xtreme Vision
Fog lights: Phillips Xtreme Vision

I can see at night without blinding anyone with this halogen setup.
Now this is concise!

What a useless thread. I hope the moderators start addressing these types of posts and threads with the newer members.

Your post is useless. This thread is informing our wonderful members that they can just say NO to bad led choices, not blind oncoming drivers and still see. Stop fucking up good information with your vapid comments.

This is the epitome of how to ruin a thread. Let’s continue shall we?

Heads up on those extra visions: they burn brighter and therefore faster. I'd keep a spare in the glove box because you WILL be replacing one sooner than you expect.

I still run the xtreme vision for my highbeams. THey work(y). My lows burned out really quickly, though. Spent more money on the OSRAM nightbreakers and they burnt out just as quick if not quicker. It's a shame these high output halogens die so fast.

I drive about 20-25K/year with half of that at night, so lifespan may vary. Looking at my amazon history the Xtreme visions lasted 9 months, OSRAMs lasted almost 6 lol.

9 months isn’t bad. I rarely drive at night so it’s no big deal for me. Not blinding other drivers is the most important thing 👌

exactly. I think the osrams were the worst lights I even had. Pricey, noticeably dimmer after a few months and I felt there was a split second delay for them coming on. I think the Xtreme brights are one of the best halogens available. Better than the Sylvanias everyone seems to love IMO.

Now I'm running the TechMax LEDs. was afraid of blinding other drivers so I had them basically facing the ground lol. After doing the 'buddy test' with a driver in front of me I've found that when adjusted properly they have LESS glare than the OSRAMs and light the road better. I too was afraid I would add to the assholes with glaring lights on the highway, but besides the color, no one would think I was running high powered LEDs or HIDs.

Kudos to you for checking for glare beyond aiming them at a garage door. LED’s with glare have ruined driving at night. I’m a truck driver so I actually have to wear yellow tinted glasses at night to combat glare. It’s a shit show out here let me tell you and it’s all fueled by ignorance

If your post adds value, why not contribute to an existing thread that already discusses much of what you are trying to discuss? Such as:

https://www.fiestastforum.com/threa...need-to-know-about-automotive-lighting.17409/
https://www.fiestastforum.com/threads/what-should-i-do-about-lights.21319/

You make some good points about LED headlights in halogen housings being terrible for glare, and there being a lot of ignorance around that subject, but why not do so in an existing thread?

I wanted to make a new thread. Why are you wasting everyone’s time worrying about the most inane thing and fucking this one up? Erase your posts please

Man once I discovered the magic of yellow/amber tinted night driving glasses my life was forever changed. It's SO MUCH EASIER to see!

I've noticed (on bikes at least) that once the headlight housing gets scratched/foggy, LED's seem to glare REALLY BAD vs. halogens. The halogens just seem to cut light output, but LED's in a scratched-up headlight housing was like staring at the sun.

My wife makes fun of me tho, either she calls me bono or she says I look like:

Imagine if he was alive in his prime now. He would tear up this bullshit PC facade to shreds. There would be much salt from libtard tears
