I'm now the proud owner of a new (to me) 2016 Fiesta ST in Molten Orange!

Before this I've had a 1992 Mazda B2200, a 2002 Ford Focus SE Wagon... and a 2017 Ford Fiesta SfE with the 5-speed and 1L ecoboost. I had bought that Fiesta new and it was my daily driver up until one snowy day when a Jetta thought it could make it through an intersection, and my car didn't make it.

Long story short I was in a pretty bad bind with not much time to analyze all of my options so i wanted to just get a replacement Fiesta.

And this was the only one on the lot.

...

Well okay then, I guess I have to go for the cooler version with the better engine and all the bells and whistles and the only reason why i didn't buy it in the first place was because I couldn't justify the price. Fiiiine. :D

Anyways I've definitely been enjoying it, I'd enjoy it more when winter is over. it's in really good condition, only being used as a summer car before (so only 18,000k on it)

I do have one question though, When i bought it it only had the stock one-season Summer tires so I had to buy winter tires, but since I live in Alberta it'd be a hassle constantly changing tires for all the seasons - Spring, summer, Fall, Winter, Second Spring, Winter Encore, Summer Matinee, False Alarm Autumn, and April. Will the summer timers be fine for inclement weather or should I replace them or get a third set? Thanks

If you are on the stock summers... They have ZERO grip on snow/ice. I bought my car in a January and lucked out in that the passes I had to drive thru were still wet on the way home. I had to park the car for a week while waiting on some snow tires. I could not get out of my driveway, was stuck on a 0.4% incline =) I stay on my snow tires up till I am certain that winter is over.

If I was you I'd get a set of nt01 or r888. For the 3 months a year that you won't need winter tires you can really enjoy the car.
