Hi Everyone!

Old guy here, lurked for a while after deciding on my 2019 FiST- not delivered as of yet.

I'm a major gearhead- from 440whp Bugeye STis, a 40 psi fed 2.3 in my 1990 Ranger to my last "real" hotrod, a BBC-powered trunk Mustang that went 8.80 @ 156 on street tires (not fast today, but in 2004....;))

I hope to learn a lot and contribute appropriately.

Most of all, I'm looking forward to driving my FiST and enjoying NOT working on something, or worrying about how fast it is.

S.

Welcome buddy! I'm in the Daphne, AL area myself. What dealer are you getting yours from and what spec? I'm scheduled to pick mine up from Adamson in Birmingham. It should be here in a couple weeks. Ownerd a 2014 for about a year that I ended up selling. Missed it so much I've been batting the idea of picking up another around for a year or so. Now that they are almost extinct I hopped on it!!

I've been through more drivers cars than I can count including 2 built STi's. And I tell ya, I just love these little things!

Gilbert Baugh in Albertville- I've had really good experiences there.

It's a base Magnetic with black wheels. I traded my 580 whp 2011 Raptor and actually made money, so everything worked out really well.

I'm picking it up Monday evening- I'm looking forward to it.

That's the same place I do all my business at and it's where I ordered mine from .

Small world, huh?

I doubt my Raptor will be there long. If you get down that way, ask Randy if you can test drive it :) My wife has been around for all my hotrods, but she says the Raptor "is waaaay too fast for a 6000 lb truck" :ROFLMAO: I'm going to miss it...but certainly not the 12.5 mpg.

That's awesome man. Are they doing a dealer trade or did they have it on order? I scoured the country trying to find a Recaro spec car without sunroof with no luck until I stumbled upon Adamson (only a few hours away of all places) They ordered 5 the day before Ford stopped taking orders. Scored a magnetic with molten orange recaros and no other options. Pretty excited!

Dealer trade, but it was in transit from Ford. Congratulations to you, too.

Well...I didn't get it tonight- Ford shows the car "in transit", even though it's sitting in the dealer's lot in Memphis, so my local dealer couldn't pick it up yet.

Sucks, but I'll wait.

When mine was in transit , it took almost a week before it got to the lot. Be sure to get there when they clean it up or you might end up with the Gilbert and Baugh advertising on it. They were about to put that on mine and I got to them just in time to say no. And they just had put the Fiesta logo on it and I had them remove it before I drove off.
