Hollow intake sound......

I'm linking to another forum so you can one, hear a sound clip of what I'm talking about and two see what they are saying. I have an injen intake and since I got the car it's been making in lower rpms and driving like a grandma this hollow almost like blowing over a beer bottle sound. I'm leaning towards intake but on this other forum some guys had their transmission replaced. Anyway here is the link. Only the second page is the YouTube clip. Not my clip but mine sounds the same.

Just kidding. The video was pretty clear the sound starts at a certain rpm. My guess is the "sound symposer" has been disconnected, but not plugged. Thus, the valve for the sound symposer opens up and is just letting wind in which is making a hollow, whooshing noise.

It appears that it's all hooked up. No hoses or tubes are disconnected.

I started a thread a few months back about this. There was no solid conclusion. Some hear it with 100% stock cars while others only hear after an intake install (like me). I even went as far as re installing the stock intake just to confirm and it was definitely the intake causing the sound (for me anyway). Honestly after deleting the Sound Symposer and adding a COBB Catback, I rarely hear it anymore, even though its still there.

You won't. Especially if you have an Injen intake.

Can I just plug it up for now? Delete it later if I really want to. Isn't there a thread on here about what to use to plug it?
