How to stop the double honk when you close the door when it's running

You could also disconnect the horn. LOL

You can leave the key in it, like in a cupholder. But then you risk locking the door and not being able to get in. That double honk is a warning.

Or just leave the fob in your pocket and only close the door to the first click. If you engage the initial latch and not the full mechanism, it won't honk. I do this all the time... it works beautifully.
