I stalked my former Chevy Malibu... What I found shocked me!

Yesterday I found the VIN for my 2006 Chevy Malibu that I traded in when I got my first 2011 Ford Fiesta in 2010. I did not expect to see it in a wrecking yard with such catastrophic damage. Many feels were had.

Many memories with this car. I bought this in 2007. It took me and Damien from Washington to Michigan, then myself to Florida for my original CTN "A" School. After three months, I went back to Michigan to pick up Damien, and then took a marathon run to California. I traded it in in 2010 for my first Ford Fiesta. In it's final 4 years, the Malibu gained 60,000 miles on the odometer an was finally in what appears to be a rollover accident. It looks like they replaced the stereo at some point, but you can see the original radio in the rear seat, including the afternarket XM satellite tuner I installed (the small white box behind the stereo).

First, some memories of the better times:

Amazing how people just TRASH cars over a short period of time.

Creepy. I've always wondered what has become of cars I've traded in or sold. You can literally spend years in a vehicle.

Yeah, not surprising. The Auto Auction industry will label it that way if there's bloodstains.
