The Focus STs map-switch using the cruise control up and down buttons i believe, so i'm thinking/hoping ours is similar... if that was your question?

No, I know the standard way. The Evo does it that way as well. I'm asking about an external source to switch maps, like say.... a failsafe device or anything that can transmit a 0-5v signal.

Not currently set-up that way, but I'll pass on the request to the Ford Expert Group!

Sooo. End of October? Since Cobb always does end month release. Although an early surprise would shake things up a little and wouldnt be looked down upon.
