36-year-old H.I. and his lime green Huracan wearing Czech plates first climbed way above 200, then hit the guardrail on the inside, only to bounce off to the other, tearing it apart before ending up in the ditch.

Luckily, Mr. H.I. not only survived, but then also managed to pull out his passenger from the wreck before the car turned into a fireball and melted to the ground.

Since his passenger suffered serious injuries, the driver is now facing reckless driving and endangerment charges but is not in custody yet.

Thankfully for him there were no trees around, things could have gotten a lot worse than just losing his car.

That is fawkin' unreal. That thing took out the guardrail like it wasn't even supposed to be there.

Right about at the 1:25 mark it looks like he just drove of the road. I didn't see him attempt to pass anyone.

I'm thinking he hit a dip or bump in the road. At normal speeds, nothing unusual. At those speeds, probably sent the car airborne causing him to lose control.

I came to the same conclusion.

either that, or someone decided to cut him off and he swerved into the guard railing

Nah, looked like a bump or dip, you see the car start to float very briefly before he tries to do a slight adjustment, then loses control. There's a reason the Autobahn is examined religiously for imperfections in the road.

I'm all for going fast but that's reckless. I haven't even come close to burying the speedo in the fist.

I have gone 170-180 on road before and it is just never a good idea. I hit a pretty small bump one time at about 150 in a car with a very stiff and not forgiving suspension and im glad I had a few lanes to play with. That guy for sure was going to fast on a road that is not flat nor straight. Super dangerous makes you think twice.

Just another dumb ass with more money, or parents money, than brains, too bad still in the gene pool.
Yea it was reckless, yes it was terrible he hurt that person but to wish he was dead because of his driving? Why would you say something like that. People make mistakes in life, that makes us human. I'd be willing to bet you have made some "stupid" decisions but I wouldn't wish you dead.. What an ugly comment

It's not wishing someone dead if you aren't enthusiastic about their ability to still put their genome back in the gene pool.

The guy was a dumbass, got in the air and then decided to steer when his front wheels were not on the ground.

That should be an evolutionary dead end except that Lamborghini builds their sports cars strong as a tractor.
