LF San Diego trusted shops

I was wondering if anyone in the San Diego area, preferably East County, knew of any trustworthy shops. I am on the fence with El Cajon Ford and was wanting to support a local mechanic. If you are one or know of one, please share.

What kind of work are you looking to get done? My local mechanic in Lemon Grove (Don Henderson Auto) has been pretty reasonable for more regular maintenance. I had them do my Timing Belt/Water Pump service and it came out to around $1300 with me sourcing the parts from Ford directly. For Brakes and Tires I've been flipping between Big O Tires in La Mesa and Discount Tire in Lemon Grove, depends what's going on and if I have a warranty.

I do have a scheduled appointment with CCC Motorsports in Santee to troubleshoot some boost problems. They seem to be busy and are scheduling out like 4 weeks in advance but they have a dyno so that's got to count for something...maybe?
