I'm looking into buying a 2015 Ford fiesta st with ricario package has 75k miles. Trying to see how reliable and what's some pros and cons of owning. Know the motors basically bullet proof since it was used for rally racing but need to know if theirs anything I should be prepared to replace.

Cons
Slave cylinders go out on the clutch.
Clicking hvac actuators.
Rusty spots on antenna base and doors seams.
Cooling system is too small for really hot locations and a/c use.
Rides bad on not so good roads.

Pros
Great gas mileage.
Many smiles per gallon.
Cheap car to mod.
Cheap car to fix DIY.

Thank you for the reply 😊

And yea I can usually do my own work... It's not too hard to work on? And what about the turbo does it ever need to be replaced?

The car is not too hard to work on overall. The turbo seems to be pretty reliable though many folks replace them with bigger ones. The above mentioned heat issues seem to be hit or miss: some folks have them overheat when it is 100 out, others have absolutely no problems regardless of how hot it is. Same with the Hvac actuator. I've a 2016 and have had no issues with mine.
