I didn't with 17x8 ET37 with 205/40s, so you should be fine unless you slam it.

I drive my car alot and I have yet to rub and I dont think that I will ever rub, I still have a LITTLE bit of room left when the suspension compresses to miss the fender.

My setup:
17x8 38mm offset 205/40/17
MeisterR Coilovers

You won't rub.

I'm running Pirellis 215 40 17 on my 17x8 45 offset Advanti Storms. No rubbing at all with my mountune lowering springs setup. So 205 will definitely not rub!

Did you need to use a spacer to get more inner clearance? I'm about to pull the trigger on these wheels!

I don't use spacers for my advantis. IMHO, 45 offset is perfect for the FiST. But if you want it a tad more "flush" you can go for 5mm spacers.

Oddly enough I have H&R super sports and I run daily on the stock 205s on 17x8 + 45

Only on full lock under hard compression. Not looking forward to trying to fit 215/45
